Medcom Aswan Cement Factory was established as a beginning for giant entities in the Upper Egypt desert and to constitute a milestone and a unique experience manifested in the genius of choosing the place based on three axes:
- First Axis: Choosing a location in the far south of Aswan governorate and discovering its ingredients, most notably the availability of raw materials for cement industry with high quality specifications.
- Second Axis: Achieving self-sufficiency in high-quality cement for Aswan governorate and neighboring governorates and national projects in Toshka.
- Third Axis: Promoting the state's export policy by exploiting the site's proximity to the borders of African countries, primarily Sudan.
